My mother has been a customer of state farm for more than 30 years. We found out our bathroom shower drain was leaking. We had no knowledge of this. It’s not something you can see. It’s under the house. I don’t know about you but I don’t know anyone who ventures under their house on a regular basis but if you don’t I suggest you start. Filed a claim as we found out we were looking at 30k worth of damage. State Farm refused to even help us. Got a denial letter after 2 weeks of calling with absolutely no response. Even called the guy who sold us the policy to call them for an answer. The amount of money that was paid to this company over the last 30 years would have paid for this repair. We should have saved that money instead of giving it to these people who can’t even be bothered to assist a loyal customer. Best believe we’ll be going somewhere else after this slap in the face.
